It’s not every day I get to meet the CEO of a highly-influential technology company, but the other day I did. Philippe Roche from Alioscopy USA came to town and even though I have been working with his team for many months it was not until last Monday that we met in person.

The Avalanche is Coming

more HTML email funApparently, the DC area is on the brink of yet another unseasonably, unreasonably, unsavory outrageously crazy dumping of snow (!) but this time we’re looking at 8 to 20 inches according to local forecasters.

The guesstimate range does seem a little bit odd—is it 8 or 20? A mere 8 inches of snow means we’re kind of buried, but 20 is flirting with having to call in the snow brigade to dig us out.
